Maria, surrounds the Palazzo dell'A.R. di Toscana, and embracing the whole Piazza del Duomo, passes through Piazza Manetti, and along the Strada delle Campane, returns to the Case Cerretani; whence it began, and took its name from Aldobrandino del Mancino, who was from Casa Manetti de 'Grandi di Siena, who had their Casamenti opposite the Spedale di Managnesa: it is for Arma golden field, with blue list sideways with three Golden Lilies.

Concistoro anno 1420: Aldobrandini del Mancino: campus gialli cum lista azurri ex transverso cum liliis ad aurum.

These three Contrade on the occasion of the shows mostly join together, and appear in the square under the banner of an eagle. In the year 1516 these Contrade appeared to a hunting of bulls, which was made in the large square with a chariot, above which was an eagle of immense size, and the year 1536 when the Emperor Charles V honored our city with his coming, they wanted these Contrade to prove to be true subjects, and ingenious, who therefore met him in a number of more than 300 People with their Insignia of the Eagle in Campo d'oro, from which Imperadore not only, were gladly welcomed, but honored by a singular Privilege, as it was, to be able to raise the Imperial Eagle with two heads in the future, and however deservedly in the printed report of the Feast made in Siena in the year 1546, she is distinctly honored with the title of Noble , and Privileged, when he appeared with 77 Men on horseback under the conduct of Celio Gabbrielli, and Alfiere the Count Marcello d'Elci, and for this he is still recognized by the other Contrade, as can be read in a letter written to ste from that of the Wave. Such a distinct title has never been found to have been given to anyone else, and therefore with reason it is placed here in the first place.
